Jeepney drivers go on strike in Philippines

Manila (Philippines), Apr 29 (EFE/EPA) - Jeepney drivers go on strike in Philippines operators and drivers went on strike Monday and rallied in Pasig City to protest against the government's program to modernize public utility vehicles.

This modernization program could phase out traditional jeepneys as they would not be able to meet its requirements.
