Japan's Nikkei stock average marks new record | Video

Tokyo, Mar 1 (EFE/ EPA).- On Friday, the Nikkei Stock Average rose 744.63 points, 1.90 per cent, to mark the new record high of 39,910.82 at the closing.

The Nikkei Stock Average rose by 16.8% year to date, maintaining its status as one of the top-performing global indexes since last year, when it experienced a significant 30% surge. (Camera: KIMIMASA MAYAMA).
