Japan's Nikkei closes above 1989 record high

Japan, Feb 22 (EFE/EPA).- Japan's benchmark Nikkei Stock Average on Thursday rose 836.52 points, or 2.19 per cent from the previous day, to close at 39,098.68, surpassing the previous record set at the end of December 1989. (Camera: KIMIMASA MAYAMA).
