Japan's Consumer Price Index rises two percent from previous year

Tokyo, Feb 27 (EFE/EPA).- Japan's Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications announced on Tuesday that the January core Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose two per cent from the previous year which matched the Bank of Japan's inflation target.

The CPI has been rising for 29 consecutive months. (Camera: KIMIMASA MAYAMA).
