Japanese Yen falls to 153 level against US dollar | Video

Tokyo, Apr 11 (EFE/EPA).- The Japanese currency fell below the 153 yen level on Thursday against the US dollar in New York in early trade for the first time in about 34 years.

This drop followed the release of the latest US inflation data. The belief that the US Federal Reserve would postpone interest rate cuts began spreading due to the higher-than-expected increase in the consumer price index for March. (Camera: KIMIMASA MAYAMA).
