Japan recorded a current account surplus of 744.3 billion yen in December

Tokyo, Feb 8 (EFE/EPA).-(Camera: Franck Robichon). Japan recorded a current account surplus of 744.3 billion yen (about $5.0 billion) in December, the Japanese Government reported on Thursday.

The figure represents almost a third of the surplus of 1.92 trillion yen recorded the previous month, according to data published on Thursday by the Japanese Ministry of Finance.
