Japan marks three years since first Covid-19 case

Tokyo, Jan 16 (EFE/EPA).- Three years have passed since the first COVID-19 case was confirmed in Japan and the health ministry said the country recorded about 31 million cases and over 62,000 fatalities.

At a press conference on Monday, Chief Cabinet Secretary Hirokazu Matsuno said that the government is preventing the spread of infection while keeping socioeconomic activities to be carried out as close to normal as possible. (Camera: FRANCK ROBICHON).
