Bogota, Apr 18 (EFE).- Spanish writer Irene Vallejo's worldwide success came unexpectedly with the publication of the award-winning essay 'El infinito en un junco', which "did not seem destined to receive such a generous welcome and hospitality", something she interprets as proof that "books still have a lot to say" and fuels her "incombustible optimism" about the literary world.
