Iraqi graduates demonstrate to demand government action against unemployment

Baghdad, May 21 (EFE/EPA).- On Sunday, demonstrations by unemployed university graduates in Iraq continued near the heavily fortified Green Zone, which houses government offices in central Baghdad.

Thousands of university graduates and unemployed people joined in these protests, aiming to pressure the government to address the pressing problem of high unemployment rates among graduates.

In response to the ongoing protests, Iraqi security forces have implemented tight security measures at the entrances to the Green Zone. (Camera: AHMED JALIL).
