Iran to vote in an election with no clear favorite

Tehran (Iran), Jun 24 (EFE) - Iran is preparing to vote in an uncertain early presidential election on Friday with no clear front-runner, amid popular discontent over the economic and social situation.

The early elections follow the death of ultra-conservative President Ebrahim Raisi in a helicopter crash along with Foreign Minister Hosein Amir Abdolahian and six others on May 19.
