Iran faces an economic crisis, with currency falling to a new low

The Iranian currency fell this week to its lowest value against the U.S. dollar and other foreign currencies following sanctions imposed by the United States and the European Union against Iran, amid tensions over nuclear talks, which have been halted in the wake of recent anti-government protests in the country. Iran is facing an economic crisis.
