Iran extends presidential election voting deadline by two hours

Tehran (Iran), Jun 28 (EFE/EPA).- Iran extended Friday two hours the voting hours of the early presidential elections after the death of the former president, Ebrahim Raisi, in an election without a clear favorite.

"The voting deadline has been extended by two hours, until 20.00 local time (16.30 GMT)," the country's election commission said, according to the state-run IRNA news agency.
