Iran celebrates "Charshande Suri", a 3,000-year-old popular festival

Tehran (Iran), March 12 (EFE).- Iranians danced, sang and jumped over bonfires this Tuesday in the ancient festival of "Charshande Surí", a festival of purification with Zoroastrian roots prior to the arrival of Islam to the Persian country, but which is modernizing at a rapid pace.
