Indonesia's Aceh gov't seeks to improve economy of fisheries sector

Banda Aceh, Jan 16 (EFE/EPA).- The Aceh government is intensifying the development of the fish processing industry in Aceh to improve the economy of the fisheries sector.

According to BPS data, the number of fishermen in Aceh reaches 80,000 people spread across several districts, making work as a fisherman the main livelihood for the coastal communities of Aceh. (Camera: HOTLI SIMANJUNTAK).
