Indigenous Bolivian women learn sewing to empower themselves and combat gender-based violence

Mocomoco, Bolivia, Oct 16 (EFE).- (Camera: Gina Baldivieso) Pastry making and sewing the Aymara cholitas' traditional wide skirts became allies to promote women empowernment in rural communities, which also fight sexist violence.

The initiative launched by the "Nayrar Sarapxañani" association is lead by Flora Silva.
