Indigenous alliance turns arid area in Mexico into forest of 20 million trees

Oaxaca, Sep 2 (EFE).- The indigenous alliance of Chocholteca-Mixtec communities of Oaxaca, in southern Mexico, has converted 22,000 hectares of dry and eroded soil into a forest where 20 million trees grow. (Camera: JOSÉ DE JESÚS CORTÉS).
