India’s New Delhi faces water shortage

New Delhi, Jun 26 (EFE/EPA).- As summer approached, India faced water scarcity on Wednesday because the tanker supply is insufficient to meet daily needs due to the water shortage in Delhi.

Delhi's Water Minister, Atishi, has been admitted to the hospital after her health deteriorated during an indefinite hunger strike against the Haryana government for not releasing 100 million gallons per day (MGD) of water, thus exacerbating the water crisis in the national capital.
