Indian activists protest against cruelty against Rhesus macaques in New Delhi

New Delhi, Oct 27 (EFE/EPA).- Dozens of activists staged a protest on Friday against the cruelty on Rhesus macaques, in New Delhi.

The activists demand Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to restore the protection of Rhesus Macaques under the Wild Life (Protection) Act that would prevent Rhesus macaques from being killed or captured for the experimentation, meat or pet industries and other forms of abuse.
