Indian activists highlight need to end animal experimentation

New Delhi, Jun 20 (EFE).- A group of activists protested on Thursday demanding the urgent need to end animal experimentation in India. The event was organized by the animal rights group PETA.

"Recently, protections for the Rhesus macaque under animal protection laws were removed," Ankita Pandey, a scientific policy advisor for PETA, told EFE at the demonstration held in Connaught Place.

The protest, involving activists including one dressed as a monkey, aimed to raise public awareness and advocate for stronger animal rights. (Camera: DAVID ASTA).
