India prepares for Durga Puja festival with art exhibitions in Kolkata

Kolkata, India, Oct 01 (EFE/EPA).- Workers in Kolkata are putting the finishing touches to the artwork of a temporary pandal in preparation for the upcoming Durga Puja festival.

The festival will be held from October 9 to 13, 2024.

Durga Puja is an annual Hindu festival that honours the goddess Durga and commemorates her victory over the demon Mahishasura.
