India celebrates Teachers' Day

Bangalore, India, Sep 5 (EFE/EPA) - India celebrated Teacher's Day on Thursday to commemorate teachers for their contribution to the education and personal development of students.

Teacher's Day is celebrated on September 5 every year to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a renowned scholar, philosopher, and the second president of India.
