Inauguration of extension of line 11 of Paris metro ahead of 2024 Olympic Games

Paris (France), Jun 13 (EFE/EPA) - French authorities inaugurated Thursday the extension of metro line 11 in Rosny-Bois-Perrier, after eight years of works that will connect this area with the center of Paris.

The ceremony was attended by the former Prime Minister and Chairman and CEO of the RATP group, Jean Castex, the French Minister Delegate for Transport, Patrice Vergriete, the President of the Ile-de-France region, Valeriie Pecresse, and the President of the Seine-Saint-Denis department, Stephane Troussel.
