Immigrant families in Chile face uncertain future after mega-fires in Viña del Mar

Viña del Mar, Mar 2 (EFE) - The fire did not distinguish anyone: Ecuadorian, Colombian, Venezuelan, Dominican, Haitian, Peruvian and Chilean families saw together, after a desperate escape flanked by flames, how the raging fire that affected Viña del Mar a month ago, in the middle of Chile's central coast, consumed in minutes all their houses in the United Nations population, an irregular settlement located in the upper part of the city.
