IMF maintains growth projection for Indonesia at 5%

Jakarta, Oct 18 (EFE/EPA).- Indonesia is expected to have a 5 percent-growth in 2023 and in 2024, according to the reports announced Wednesday by the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

The country’s inflation has been brought under control by action by the central bank in raising interest rates.

The IMF also maintains the growth forecast for the Asia and Pacific region in 2023 at 4.6 percent, with growth in the region expected to moderate to 4.2 percent in the year 2024. (Camera: BAGUS INDAHONO).
