IEO confirms a thermal anomaly of the sea in Menorca in 2022, after it reached up to 29 °C

Palma, April 7 (EFE).- Researchers from the Spanish Institute of Oceanography (IEO) have confirmed an episode of thermal anomaly suffered in the summer of 2022 in the sea in Menorca, with maximum daily water temperatures that exceeded 28°C up to the of 25 meters and even above 29 °C in the first 10 meters.
