Hundreds protest in Vienna against Israel’s participation in Eurovision
Vienna, May 15 (EFE).- Hundreds of protesters from various countries gathered Friday in downtown Vienna to protest Israel’s participation in the 70th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest, which is being held this week in the Austrian capital.The famous pop music competition is taking place this year without the participation of Spain, the Netherlands, Ireland, Iceland, and Slovenia, whose public broadcasters decided to boycott the festival because of Israel’s continued participation.CAMERA: NÚRIA MORCHÓN.FOOTAGE: SCENES FROM THE PROTESTS AGAINST ISRAEL’S PARTICIPATION IN THE 70TH EDITION OF THE EUROVISION SONG CONTEST, HELD THIS FRIDAY IN VIENNA, WHICH BROUGHT TOGETHER SEVERAL HUNDRED PEOPLE IN SUPPORT OF THE CAUSE.
