Hundreds celebrate "Chinegros" tradition in Nicaragua

Nindirí, Jul 26 (EFE).- In a picturesque town in the Pacific of Nicaragua, the "grandchildren" of Santa Ana and San Joaquín took part Wednesday in the 4-century-old tradition "Chinegros", a violent and rhythmic battle where people hit each other with wooden sticks as a way to pay honor to their patron saint.
