Houthi supporters rally on Al-Quds Day in solidarity with Palestinians

Sana’a, Apr 5 (EFE/EPA).- Thousands of Houthi supporters gathered in Sana'a, Yemen, on Friday to celebrate Al Quds Day and express solidarity with the Palestinian people.

The event, established in 1979 by Ayatollah Khomeini, founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, is celebrated every year on the last Friday of Ramadan. It calls for worldwide Muslim solidarity with the Palestinians.

Participants at the Yemen rally chanted slogans and showed their support, underscoring the widespread attention and observance the day continues to receive throughout the Muslim world. (Camera: YAHYA ARHAB).
