BP hopes to have phased restart of Whiting refinery after electrical fire

Whiting, Aug 30 (EFE/EPA).- The British Oil and Gas company BP planned to have a phased restart of its refinery in Whiting, Indiana, within the next few days after an electrical fire at the facility on Aug. 24.

The refinery is the sixth largest in the United States and BP is the largest company in the country, processing 435,000 barrels per day. (Camera: TANNEN MAURY).
