Tegucigalpa, Jan 12 (EFE).- On Friday, the Honduran National Police captured three Hondurans wanted for extradition by the United States for drug trafficking, official sources said.

"In line with the achievements against drug trafficking in the Government of @XiomaraCastroZ, we report that we have just arrested, with the support of @PoliciaHonduras, three more people with extradition rights who are wanted in the U.S. Facts, not words… We are on the right track!!!" said the Honduran security minister, Gustavo Sánchez, on the social network X (formerly Twitter).

Sánchez did not specify where the three Hondurans were detained, their names, or the details of the extradition request. (Camera: DANIEL ESPINOZA).
