Historic drought made it difficult to rescue endangered Amazonian turtle eggs

Rio de Janeiro, January 28 (EFE).- The historic drought that the Amazon has been suffering since September made it difficult to rescue endangered turtle eggs in the world's largest rainforest. However, it did not stop activists fighting to save the species in Brazil from commemorating the release this weekend of 800 chelonian hatchlings.
