Hindu nationalism spreads as cult literature in India

New Delhi (India), May 5 (EFE).- The shelves of Indian bookstores show the firm and progressive change of the idea of the new India, a rewriting of history aligned with the Hindu nationalist concept of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on his way to a third consecutive term to seal that transformation.

"Any bookstore today is going to be flooded with books about Narendra Modi or the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), praising them and finding positive qualities in their way of governing," the historian from the University of Delhi, Apoorvanand, told EFE.
