Hidramar Gran Canaria wins women's volleyball league

Ciutadella, Apr 29 (EFE).- Hidramar Gran Canaria revalidated the title achieved last year on Monday and once again became the champion of the women's volleyball league after defeating Avarca Menorca away in a tense match by 1 set to 3.

Sulian Matienzo, a Cuban player, played exceptionally well, and the Canary Islands team stayed calm and accurate during important moments. This helped them win the fourth and deciding match of the playoffs. (Camera: DAVID ARQUIMBAU).
