Hajj pilgrims arrive at Mount Arafat in Saudi Arabia | Video

Mount Arafat, Saudi Arabia, Jun 15 (EFE/EPA).- Muslim pilgrims arrived at Mount Arafat during the Hajj 2024 pilgrimage in southeastern Mecca, Saudi Arabia, on Saturday.

Pilgrims began flocking to the plains of Mount Arafat in the early hours to perform one of the most important rituals of the Hajj pilgrimage.

Saudi authorities reported that more than 1.5 million pilgrims arrived in Saudi Arabia for this year's Hajj season. The Ministry of Health warned that Muslims attending this year's pilgrimage face the challenge of a significant rise in temperatures. The National Centre for Meteorology (NCM) expects temperatures to range between 45 and 48 degrees Celsius at the holy sites. (Camera: STR).
