Guatemalans hold Christmas 'Posada' against corruption | Video

Guatemala City, Dec 19 (EFE).- Several dozens of people held on Tuesday a Christmas 'Posada' against corruption in Guatemala City.

The Posada, led by indigenous authorities from the country's northwest, started from the Prosecutor's Office headquarters where a sit-in against corruption has been taking place for 79 days, and headed to the Supreme Court of Justice.

The protesters demanded respect for democracy and a stop to the attempts of the Public Ministry (Prosecutor's Office) to prevent the inauguration of elected authorities, scheduled for 14 January 2024. (Camera: DAVID TORO).
