The British government has recently suffered setbacks in the House of Lords over its plan to send migrants to Rwanda to deter them from crossing the English Channel.

Despite efforts by the British and French governments to prevent migrants from making the dangerous journey in dinghies, many are willing to take the risk of seeking asylum in the UK.
