The Gomera whistle fills the streets of La Laguna to celebrate World Heritage Day

La Laguna (Tenerife), Nov 16 (EFE). - The historic center of La Laguna hosted an unusual celebration this Saturday as groups of whistlers positioned at strategic points across the city transmitted messages along its long streets. The event marked the anniversary of the designation of the municipality and the Gomera whistle as World Heritage Sites.
