Chennai, Aug 11 (EFE).- A horrifying cow attack on a girl in a residential area of the eastern Indian city of Chennai has left her with severe injuries.

The incident gained widespread attention after security camera footage captured the brutal incident, leading to the arrest of the cow's owner, as confirmed by the police on Friday.

The owner is facing charges of "negligence" and endangering public safety by allowing a potentially aggressive animal to freely roam the streets.
