German government welcomes agreement on key points for new family allowance

Berlin (Germany), Aug 28 (EFE/EPA) - (Camera: Filip Singer) The German government celebrated today, after months of disagreements between the ministries involved, the agreement on the key points of a new benefit that aims to reach more effectively the most disadvantaged families with children and that provides for an additional growing expenditure of 2.4 billion euros from 2025.
