Gangs resume violent clashes with Haitian police | Video

Port-au-Prince, Apr 8 (EFE).- Violent clashes broke out Monday between units of the Haitian National Police and armed groups of the Vivre Ensemble gang coalition led by former police officer Jimmy Cherizier, alias Barbecue.

The clashes took place in the vast Champs de Mars park, in the vicinity of the National Palace and not far from the State University of Haiti Hospital, in the center of the capital, which has been taken hostage by armed gangs that wreak havoc day and night. (Camera: MENTOR DAVID LORENS).
