GALE tells what it's like to compose for artists like Shakira | Video

San Juan, April 30 (EFE).- The Puerto Rican artist GALE assures in an interview with EFE that her secret when composing songs for renowned singers like Shakira and Juanes is to listen and create "a vulnerable environment so that this person feels comfortable."

STATEMENTS GALE, PUERTO RICAN ARTIST: When I compose with other artists like Shakira and Christina Aguilera I love it and it's a very different process than when I'm composing for myself, for my project, for my songs and I think it feels like acting a little bit because I'm writing something that's not for me. Then I have to listen and create that vulnerable environment for this person to feel comfortable and it's very magical. The process is always different, but it's very, very cool and when I'm writing for me it's already like a much more intimate process, it's scary, it's like “Oh, will I say this, will I say that” and it's always: yes. Like if I feel I have to say something, say it.
