Frida Kahlo's "Diego and I" is all the rage in Buenos Aires and reaches record attendance

Buenos Aires, Aug 31 (EFE), (Camera: Alberto Caratozzolo)- Frida Kahlo's "Diego and I", the most expensive work of Latin American art, has unleashed a true phenomenon in Argentina, where thousands of people have come in recent days to contemplate this unique painting, which for years remained hidden from the eyes of the general public.

Nearly 12,000 people attended the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (Malba) in the first week of exhibition of the piece that symbolizes the tempestuous relationship between Kahlo (1907-1954) and her husband, the famous Mexican muralist Diego Rivera (1886-1957).
