French NGO holds event to protest dolphin deaths

Paris (France), Feb 22 (EFE/EPA) - (Camera: Teresa Suarez) The LPO, one of the French associations dedicated to the protection of nature, denounced Wednesday the fishing practices on the coast of the Bay of Biscay, responsible for the death of hundreds of dolphins each winter. The LPO will file two lawsuits before the European Commission and the French courts to put an end to these fishing techniques harmful to wildlife.
