'Freedom convoy' enters Paris despite ban

Paris, Feb 12 (EFE).- (Camera: Christophe Petit Tesson) The Freedom Convoys, made up of thousands of anti-vaccine, anti-coronavirus restrictions demonstrators, entered Paris on Saturday despite a ban.

The protesters, coming from all over the country, spent the night at the gates of the French capital and have now set their course, at a slow pace, towards the city.

The local authorities decided to deploy some 7,200 security troops, and armored vehicles to avoid blockades.
