France sends armed forces to New Caledonia after riots

Istres (France), May 15 (EFE).- The French president, Emmanuel Macron, opted for a strong hand to try to stop this Wednesday the revolts in the autonomous territory of New Caledonia, where two days of protests by the native population of this Pacific archipelago have already caused four deaths.
