France says that the way out of the crisis should not depend on the US and China

Berlin / Paris, May 31 (EFE).- The president of France, Emmanuel Macron, said Monday with the German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, that the exit from the crisis of the European Union (EU) should not depend on the United States (USA) and China.

STATEMENTS PROVIDED BY THE GERMAN GOVERNMENT FROM THE FRENCH PRESIDENT, EMMANUEL MACRON.

"The coming months will tell us if we need more prominent ambition in our major policies. We will continue to be just as pragmatic with a geopolitical intention. We are convinced that the exit from the crisis should not lead to any kind of delay of the EU concerning the United States and China."

"Being pragmatic, we are committed to applying what we decided a year ago. The plan will be a reality and that the money determined at the European level will go to national budgets and will be used as best as possible."
