Foodies in Cuba: recommending restaurants on social media despite shortage of supplies

Havana, May 5 (EFE) - When he was shown videos of Spanish influencers talking about food and restaurants just a year ago, Eduardo, a 31-year-old Havana native, had an enlightenment. If they could do it, so could he.

His trajectory since then has been meteoric: in February 2023 he uploaded his first video to Youtube and in June he switched to Instagram, because TikTok is blocked in Cuba. That same month he posted 'Three restaurants you can't miss in Havana' and the review 'The best buffet in Cuba'.
