Florida's Chimpanzee sanctuarie opens its doors to visitors for Christmas season

FoFort Pierce, Florida (US), Dec 11 (EFE/EPA).- (Camera: Cristobal Herrera) Chimpanzees at the Save the Chimps sanctuary in Florida greet Christmas visitors with squeals and jumps.

Some of the 227 chimpanzees of the reserve, one of the largest in the world, were pets. Most of them come from laboratories where humans used them to test medicines and treatments.
