A fire has been extinguished after burning 4.5 hectares of scrubland in Menorca

Mahón (Spain), Mar 13 (EFE). (Camera: David Arquimbau).- Agents from the Balearic Institute of Nature (Ibanat) and firefighters from the Consell de Menorca extinguished a fire that started on Tuesday that burned 4.5 hectares on the Son Serra farm, in the municipality of Es Mercadal, this Wednesday morning. .

The affected area is the largest damaged by a forest fire on the island in the last seven years.
