Filipino protesters call for better wages and protection for overseas workers

Mandaluyong City, Mar 18 (EFE/EPA).- Protesters called for measures to ensure better wages, benefits and protection for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) on Monday and urged the Philippine government to negotiate the release of OFW Mary Jane Veloso, who has been on death row in Indonesia for more than a decade.
